I paid the full price when I first purchased the game, I think that to charge registered users another $20 for a game they already paid 25 for is asking a bit much. I think that the current price is great for the software and should stay the same for future releases of the game. This being said though, if there were some real changes to the game I could see asking for a small ($5-$10) for currently registered users to upgrade to 2.0 - for being loyal fans. A small (nominal fee) encourages offered through email to current users would probably re-spark interest in customers that have since stopped playing this game. I do think though, that $20 would turn off many users and cause them to eithor say "current version works great - I don't really need an upgrade."
The lower the cost - the greater the urge to impulse buy it...
For me the best scenario would be a free upgrade, or a small fee to registered users, and a $25 price tag to new recruits.

I should jump in and say everything up to 2.0 will be a free upgrade. So far free upgrades have been the policy. That will probably stay the same for the near future. I am toying with the idea of add-on packs once scenarios are done.

Sorry I should word that better. Everything up to 2.0 is guarenteed to be a free upgrade. 2.0 iteself will probably be a free upgrade as well.
The add-on packs however, will be something like $10.
