Guy,
I agree with you that PW should not be compared with Argentum or Strategic assult, which is what I said in my previous message. However, I think the average gamer will do that and they will get confused. That's all.

Eric, in my opinion PW is not a game, but a sort of mind-game where you have to think either than act. And the ways to achieve a goal can be so different that it makes you try it over and over again. Many times I was not happy to capture the last city, because the game then was over and I so much liked the way doing it.
Glad other people have the same feeling about PW.
Guy.

How many people play both the Pocket PC and Desktop versions.

What do you think about keeping the price where it is but breaking the two versions apart. Each one is the current price. Buy them together and get a 50% discount on one.

If you only play the Pocket PC version everything stays the same. If you play both you would have to pay an extra $8 or so.

I realize none of this really matters to you because you have all already purchased Pocket War. I'm just interested in honest feedback.

I play both versions. Of all of the games that I have purchased I was more inclined to buy from the company that 'threw' in the desktop version for free (although, games like PW I would seriously consider paying for both versions no matter what :D) But, I have purchased other programs that required a separate payment for the PC version, and I had bought both of them - just depends on the quality of the game.

I play both versions. Being spoiled by having both applications for the low price I would more than likely think twice about getting both versions again, I know it is only $8 more. Instead of the extra $8, I would rather have it upped to $19.99 for both like you were thinking about earlier in this thread. Just my random thoughts.

I mainly play the PDA version only. I would pay the $19.99 for both veresion if that was the only choice but I would only purchase the PAD version if that was an option. My opinion would be to sell both version together for one price. I don't think that $19.99 price would cause a persion not to purchase the program.

Tully,
I only play the ppc version, however, that said I have had friends download the game that only have a desktop so that we could play the game in multiplayer mode once it is finished.

Other software on my ppc that has both a desktop version and a ppc version, I have only purchased the ppc versions. I rarely use the desktop versions and only consider them if they are "free" with the purchase of the ppc version.

I think that with the extra coding of PW for the desktop and ppc it would make sense to sell them maybe as seperate units with a discount given if someone wanted to purchase both at the same time.
