Having difficulties with it. I said I was "trying".... :)

BTW the reason for the name change is I am about to branch it out into more products. Armored Division (or whatever the name is) will be the current pocket war. I'm going to go ahead and call it 2.0 because it has all the features I wanted for 2.0 in it. Now that the base is done I will finally be able to do the new ones.

Current plans would be to make a civil war, war game. WWII, a fantasy version, and a sci-fi version. They will each use different versions of the core engine but each will have new needs, play slightly different, and be separate products.

They will all also carry the Pocket War name and this entire part of metalshard will probably be re-branded to Pocket War.

So something like...

Pocket War - Armored Division
Pocket War - knights of the realm
Pocket War - Gettysburg
etc.

Thoughts on this?

How about Pocket War 2: Modern Combat for the name of the new 2.0 version?

The idea of having a series of different Pocket War products sounds interesting.

..OR, better yet, Pocket War 2.0: Modern War

Is there anyway to make the civil war, wwII, sci-fi just an add-on mod for pocket war? You could still charge $10 for the add-on mods, just make it so it needs the core pocket war code

Here is the current thinking...

There will be two classes of products done in the future.

One that is based on the current pocket war engine (civil war, WWII, etc.) You will be able to buy them seperatly for the normal price, but there will be a package deal where you can get them is sets for a discount. There will also be a special deal if you already bought pocket war so you don't get penalized for having bought it before the package deals were available.

The second type will be completly stand alone games (the sci-fi and medeval versions) that require a modified engine. The reason behind that is I want to do more with those mods than is currently possible. Those will sell seperatly and may or may not have a combo package deal somewhere in the future. The will probably sell under a different name as well (not pocket war.)

Hi there, everyone.

Pocket War is unique and the name should be retained to reflect that.

And using numerical order should be avoided as it normally reflects version/update number i.e. Pocket War 1.081.

May I suggest Pocket War II - The Conquest.

:-) Regards.
