When to armies are on the same team should you be able to...
* see what your friends can see
I don't think you should be able to do the following...
* put your troops in a friend's transport * repair and refuel in a friend's unit * repair and refuel in a friend's city * give orders to a friend's unit * kick units out of a friend's city or transport * run scripts on a friend's unit
What you can do...
* Friends will not attack friends * Friends will not take cities from friends
Thoughts?

You will be able to set unit to follow a friend's unit, like you can have it follow one of your own.

IMO You should be able to do that.. I play Civ 3 and I make alliances left and right and I send my forces at times near my alliances and then I just attack and take them over and break the alliance. So I think at least the human players should be able to do that, with a very low chance that the AI would do it. I think it would make it more exciting... Or for the weak at heart, have an option to allow players to do switch this on or off.
Just my two cents.

Teams will be fixed for the duration of the game so you won't be able to break an alliance in the middle of the game.
