Subject - Problems with 0.981

Just installed 0.981 to my iPAQ 3650 (Pocket PC 2000) and my old Compaq Armada 7400 laptop (Windows 98). Two problems:

On the Pocket PC, the install did not produce any Pocket War shortcut in the Programs > Games Start Menu folder, for some reason. Always did before...

On my laptop, the mouse cursor keeps disappearing! It's apparently still there, I think. At least if I Alt-Tab out of the game, position the cursor on the screen where I would want it to click on a menu item, then Alt-Tab back in, clicking brings up that menu item. But this produced another problem: after Alt-Tabbing back and forth a few times, Pocket War froze.

On the Pocket PC version it installs everything under start -> metalshard. Updating the Games menu was causing problems because there are some models of PDAs that don't have a games menu.

The mouse cursor problem is finally fixed in the 1.0 beta. I draw the cursor myself now rather than relying on hardware cursors. The freeze problem should also be fixed. That was being caused by Pocket War loosing its DirectX backbuffer.
