I'd like to play the mod dragon wars, but I don't know know to edit shortcuts on my ipaq (pocket pc 2002) in order to get the command line parameters in there. (i.e., MOD=dragonwars). Can someone help me? Thanks!

It is pretty tough to do. You can create the link by hand on a pc then sync it with the pda or you can use a third party file manager program to create the link.
Where do you have Pocket War installed and I will create a link for you and post it here.

I had the same problem... I found a file manager called "Total Commander" that does it quite nicely... (and it's free!!!) Goto http://www.ghisler.com/ce.htm (It also zips, and much more!)

That is great to know. I have been looking for a file manager replacement anyway. The one that comes with the Pocket PC is anemic. (I was about to break down and write one.)

How did you get the command line passed in properly to the link or did you go in and edit the link by hand?

All, I use RescoExplorer 2003. It acts just like the desktop version. You can tap and hold on a file and then select properties. After that you can edit the path just like you would on the desktop. Sorry it isn't free like Total Commander, but it is the best explorer replacement that I have used. It has builtin Zip funtions and builtin file encryption also.

I created a link to mge.exe, then edited it (using their built-in editor).
