I have downloaded and installed the Mods onto my desktop but they do not move over to my PPC. I know I am missing something (like the right entry in the manual) but for the life of me I don't know what.

You just have to activesync them over to the pocket pc. The easiest way is to start a sync session then on your desktop open up a folder to
my computer / mobile device / MY Pocket PC / Program Files / metalshard / pocket war / mods
and also open up a folder to
my computer / c: / program files / metalshard / pocket war / mods
and then copy all the subdirectories from the second folder to the fist.
This assumes you installed into main memory on your pda and to the default location on the pc. Let me know if this helps.
