Tully,
I have noticed that if I continue to click on the right button in the load/save game menu option that it will "create" *.pwg files. If I don't have any saved games or if I only have say one game then I would have expected it to keep me from moving past the third saved game file. Or if I can keep moving then it really should only create the file when I tap the save button to actually save the game.
Is this by design that it is working this way?

It should only create the file when you click the save game button.

The next drop will have a fix in it for this. I thought I would have it done last night but it looks like it wont be done until tonight.

Not a problem. It really isn't that much of an issue, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Since that is usually that way it works with me.

I also noticed it saves a test.tmp only on the PDA, should that be there?

I know about that one. It shouldn't be there but it just tends to hang around. I am not as worried about that though because it is only one file. The stepping through all the games creating empty saved games could really cause a lot of clutter, which is why I fixed it.

A new beta 4 (0.971) is available for download. It has a fix for this problem and others as well.
