how do i get an airplane to patrol an area...like to patrol around a city

Create a number of waypoints around the city that form the shape of the area you want to have it patrol. Set each waypoint to forward to the next waypoint. Then set the airplane to go to one of the waypoints. The fastest way to do this is to create a waypoint. Then click (or tap) on it and drag the to form another waypoint. When you do that the first waypoint will automatically be set to forward to the second. You can then click on the second waypoint and repeat the process.

The only way I have done it, is to...Set four or five linked way points around the city. Then point the city to that first way point. Have the city build a plane. It will fly to the way points. When it needs to refuel it will go back to the city and then start over again.
