On the save/load dialog... Clicking the arrows eventually brings you to the end of the list of saves/loads or to the end of it. How about when an end is reached it just keeps going, like in a big circle?

heyas. I think it would be really cool if you could turn mods on and off in game. like have a screen under options with a list of all your mods, and check boxes to turn them on and off. probibly require a pretty big rewrite but I think it would be worth it. as it is im afraid to download any mods LOL

It would be almost impossible for me to turn the mods off in the game, but I could probably write a utility that you could run to switch them on and off outside the game.

The problem is the mods "rewrite" the game code on the fly. So once the game has started up it has already run all the mods and there is no way to back them out. However there could be a utility outside of the game that checked for all the mods and showed you a list of them, then you could turn off the ones you dont want.

Would that work for you?

definately. I mean like some of the mods im sure are great, humves particular I wanna try :::grins::: but some of them like nukes im not sure if I want to keep on there, or use them just for a type of game I want to play.

For the short term it isn't pretty but you can always move the folder the mod is in to another directory. Most mods are pretty well contained within their subfolders. When I get the chance to build the external utility that is what it will do.

Since you mentioned you were considering taking units out more than putting units in, what if you included all (approved) units in the download and then had the external program able to select the units and scripts that a player wants in? By default, only the original units would be installed for play.
