To reflect the fact that 1.5 is almost going to be a whole new game (to give you an idea there are still 57 open issues in my bug / enhancement list) with different game play etc, I am changing the name. The next name is currently unknown, any suggestions?
I have though of something simple like Advanced PocketWar or PocketWar Advanced but one of the problems I would like to avoid is its hard to search for Pocket War. The two words when not placed like "pocket war" have quite a few hits each on their own.

How about WarMungers? or how about BattleGrounds? THoses two names just popped in my head. I don't know if there are other games with these names yet. Probably not.

I like the name.
Maybe just push the words together and go with PocketWar?
That'd be cool.
And searches would zero in on www.metalshard.com.
If that doesn't suffice, though, I've a few suggestions:
PocketWar 2
PocketWar Platinum
PocketWar Gold
PocketWar Silver
PocketWar Pro
PocketWar Plus
Using one of these, you could market both 1.08x and the new one.
Off the wall suggestions:
MicroWar
MiniWar
TotalWar
War2Go
I feel the term, "War", must remain in the name somehow.
I vote PocketWar Pro or PocketWar Platinum.
They fit the changes.
They sound cool.

PocketWar 2 (or Pocket War 2) sounds real good.
Armored Beasts reminds me of Transformers, though.
BTW Compusmurf - Where is the Missile Sub???
Try using the Missile Truck as a template.
