Sorry guys and girls for all of the delays. I have been busy beyong belief. I am finally getting some free time so I have started working on pocket war again. Here is my todo list for 1.5 beta 1 as it stands right now:
Main Game
* Rebalance unit costs * Create Sample Scenarios * add a list of groups to the list view screens * change the way cities are taken. Rather than randomly taking cities units will damage them and when the city reaches 0 it will change to your side * add more unit types to the game and clean up the sea base images * fix multiplayer for this version (covert the server code over to 1.5 code) * fix pocket pc install not adding link to game on start menu * convert all map types over to mods and let users choose different map types * improve the AIs * fix engineer crash problem * in AI vs AI you can select waypoints by not see them, stop that from happening * Update the documentation so it matches 1.5
Map Maker
* Be able to add units to the map * Be able to add waypoints to the map * be able to set land tiles directly * be able to change city properties * build install program for new map maker
Unit Maker
* Upgrade the unit maker to work with new 1.5 type mods * build install program for new unit maker

I will have a 1.51 (1.5 alpha version 2) out tonight (aug 20th). It is the same thing as the alpha but it will have a working unit maker program with it and a couple of bugs fixed.

1.51 alpha 2 and a unit maker to go with it are now available for download in the downloads section.
This fixes the engineer crash (and makes it look like a bulldozer) as well and fixes some problems with the new mods and of course is the first working mod maker for 1.51

Tully, after the mod units have been created, what needs to be saved and where on the pocket pc? Thanks. Mike

The unit maker should show you a message when you create the script that tells you specifically what to put where, but here is a general overview...
The output of unitmaker is a pseudo javascript file. You take that file plus anything else it needs (images, sounds, etc) and place them in a directory under the metalshard/pocketwar/mods directory. The directory is usally named after the mod itself.
