I have been a little out of the loop as far as the new Alpha is concerned, but did you know that it doesnt work if I install it to a CF card? It wont let me choose any city mods, and thus the game cannot start. It does work if I install it to main memory, however. I know that this was the case a while ago, but I didnt know if it had ever been fixed, or is that waiting until a later release?
Thanks for your help

One more thing....when I said that it wouldnt run from a CF card, I lied :( It is actually the onboard SD card on my Ipaq 3950. I havent tried it yet on the CF card on the expansion pack....I can maybe try that if it would help solve anything.

actually it might, SD has a "sercurity" aspect that cause issues. See if the CF card has the same issues. Either way I will still look into it.

I tried installing to the CF card and had no problem. I didnt know that there was a difference between the SD and CF cards security-wise.....I guess that is why it is called a (S)ecure (D)igital card? Duh.

Even with that Pocket War should run and I have no idea why it won't. The problem is my test pocket pcs only have CF on them. :(

BTW SD cards without the "secure" part are called MMC cards (Multimedia Cards.) They used to be cheaper because they didn't have the "secure" part in them, but now they are more expensive and everyone has forgotten about them.
