Subject - I can't get Alpha started on my X30

I just installed the latest Alpha. When I try to startup a new game I get an error that says I don't have any City Mods installed. Please check a city MOD and then restart the skirmish. When I goto settings->Mods I don't have anything there to check.

It seems to be working just fine on my desktop though.

This problem seems to be related to having old mods installed. If you have old mods installed (from version 1.08) the alpha is supposed to ignore them but instead it breaks. If you remove the mods from you metalshard/pocketwar/mods directory it will fix the problem. New mods made with the new mod maker will also work.

Tully,

I removed PW from my X30 and did a fresh install this morning and I am still getting the same error about not having any city mods installed. Any other thoughts?

I'll wipe my device and try reinstalling it fresh and see what happens.

I had the same problem. When I deleted the script.pak file from the scripts directory, it cured the problem... Let me now if that helps...

Dan,
That didn't work either. When I delete the script.pak file from the scripts directory all I get now is a stuck PW. If I try to click on the Skirmish mode button PW just hangs.

Do you have any mods in your mods directory? (delete them)

yeah 1.5 should not hav a pak file any more. replace the contents of your pocketwar directory with the contents of this zip file (Delete the entire pocketwar folder from the metalshard folder and then add these files in)
