I have really enjoyed playing the 1.51 alpha version. The changes to the engineer have made it less appealing for me to spend the resources to build. I think a good enhancement to the engineer would be for it to make bridge pieces that can be pieced together to cross shallow water. The bridge could obviously be bombed and maybe even attacked by a tank. The engineer could replace the destroyed piece of bridge with a new bridge piece. This would make the engineer more valuable and change the dynamics of the game. Consider how important holding and protecting bridges was in WWII. Just a thought.
