If you have a cool script or other Pocket War mod that you have made then zip it up and post it here.

havent had a chance to look at the scripting language yet but it would be cool to have a script to make an engineer line the coast with AA guns or sea guns every so many spaces LOL :::grins:::

also quick question if anyone knows, once you download a mod is it automatic or is there a selection where you can turn each mod on or off depending on what you want. should I post this in the wishlist maybe?

You could build that script. Start by looking at the laylandmines script. It does something like that with landmines.

The only way you can turn off the mod is to remove it. It would be hard for the Pocket War to turn them off because it really doesn't know they are mods. The mods just make adjustments to the base scripts that drive Pocket War.

Go ahead and post that to the wish list. It has been asked for more than once.

ok one quick script question. how do I use them? LOL. ive downloaded the lay mines script (before you suggested it actually) but I cant seem to get it to work. where am I supose to put the script file? I build an engineer and go to scripts and only the protect script shows up.

Each script should have a readme file in it that says what you need to do to install the script. In the case of laylandmines, if I remember right, you just place the script in the /MODS directory of Pocket War and then it should show up in the engineer's script list.

You have to set two waypoints, one where the minefield will start, and one where it will end, and then set the script on the engineer and pick the two waypoints. The then the engineer will go into autopiolet and randomly lay mines between the two waypoints over the next couple of turns.

hmmmmmm it seems to me a minefield should be like totally random. like have the engineer move a random direction each turn and when a mine is ready throw one out in a random direction. just my opinion.

oh and I dont have a /mods directory. its just scripts, sounds, tiles, units. should I add a mods directory
